Q1. How many hours fasting does require for LP (Lipid Profile) & FBS (Fasting Plasma Glucose)?  
Ans. For LP-12 hrs Fasting is required & For FBS – 8hrs  
 
Q2. Can Tea or Tablets be consumed before LP & FBS test?  
Ans. No. Only Water can be consumed  
 
Q3. What are your Test Charges?  
Ans. Refer Test Menu  
 
Q4. How to do PPBS (Post Lunch Blood Sugar)?  
Ans. At 2 hrs after finishing lunch  
 
Q5. Can we Drink water before testing for fasting blood sugar?  
Ans. Yes, you can drink water but no other liquid can be consumed like Tea, juice etc.  
 
Q6. What will be the visit/home collection charges?  
Ans. Visiting charges are Rs. 100/- per visit.  
 
Q7. Can you give me a duplicate copy of report?  
Ans. You have to bring letter from your Doctor, explaining why do you require duplicate copy of report.  
 
Q8. Do you require morning sample for Urine Routine?  
Ans. No  
 
Q9. What are the laboratory working hours  
Ans. Lab opens at 7.30 in the morning & closes at 7.30 pm.
After 6.00 pm emergency starts.
After 10.00pm emergency charges will be apply.
 
 
Q10. Till what time do you accept samples?  
Ans. We accept the samples till 6.00 pm.  
 
Q11. Do you accept Credit Cards?  
Ans. Yes, we do accept Credit Card.  
 
Q12. What are the timings for Sundays?  
Ans. Sunday timings are 8.00am-4.00 pm  
 
Q13. Can you give report on phone?  
Ans. Report can’t be given to patient on phone, but we can inform report to your Doctor.  
 
Q14. Can you give bill receipt?  
Ans. Surely, for that you have to bring your registration slip or reports or Patient ID  
 
Q15. Can you add tests from previous sample?  
Ans.
Adding a test will depend on the type of test requested. Certain tests require fresh sample and hence a repeat blood collection may be necessary. For other tests, we have to ascertain the quantity of the sample with us. The tests may be added if the quantity is sufficient. Also, samples are discarded at about 24 hrs after collection. Hence tests cannot be added if the samples have already been discarded
 
 
Q16. When can I get the reports?  
Ans. The report collection time is between 6.00pm-7.30 pm. However some tests have a longer processing time and in such cases, patients will be informed as to when they can collect the reports when they come for the sample collection.  
 
Q17. What is timing for Dahisar lab?  
Ans. The timings for sample collection are 7.00am-4.00pm. Report collection is between 6.30pm & 7.30pm  
 
Q18. Do you give any concession for senior citizen?  
Ans. No. There is no Concession for senior citizens  
 
Q19. What are the charges of Allergy test?  
Ans. refer test list  
 
Q20. Can we bring Urine sample from home for Urine Routine?  
Ans.
Yes, you can bring urine sample collected at home. However it should preferably be collected in a container available at the laboratory and delivered to the lab within 2hrs. About half of the bottle needs to be collected.
 
 
Q21. Can we bring stool sample from home for Stool Routine?  
Ans. Yes, you can bring stool sample collected at home. However it should preferably be collected in a container available at the laboratory and delivered to the lab within 2hrs. About 10-15 grams are needed for the test.
